The GSM module mean you insert a SIM card into the GSM for communications between the alarm system and 
your mobile.
An application available in the apple store lets you send and receive messages to your alarm system.
The 6000 just got a whole lot caught up to today's technology.
The average Joe no longer has a fixed land line in their home, with the need to watch every penny, the 
additional cost of a fixed land line is the first to go.
